 What is *Rapax*?

**Rapax** is a pixel art exploration action game with a focus on tactical combat and transformation mechanics.

Fight enemies, get stronger, and adapt to difficult situations by transforming into different forms.

If you have enough levels, you can transform at any time from the menu to change your character's abilities and play style.

You can change the language by pressing the lever on the right side of the starting area.

This is a **free demo version** of *Rapax*, currently available in **Early Access** on Steam.

 Controls

### 🖱️ Keyboard

- `Alt + F4` or `Esc` – Force Quit  

- `Z` – Interact / Confirm / Dash  

- `X` – Jump  

• In water or flight mode: `X + ↑` to rise, `X + ↓` to descend  

• Without pressing `X`, move horizontally or forward/backward  

- `C` – Attack  

- `S` – Guard or Evade (consumes stamina; some characters only)  

- `A` – Special Skill (consumes red gauge) or Item Attack (if equipped)  

- `Q` – Open Menu  

- `P` – Save (within a save point)

 Controller (Xbox-style)

- `X` – Attack  

- `A` – Jump  

• In water/flight mode: `A + Stick ↑` to rise, `A + Stick ↓` to descend  

• Without pressing `A`, move horizontally or forward/backward  

- `B` – Interact / Confirm  

- `Y` – Special Skill (consumes red gauge)  

- `RB` – Hold to Dash

This game was fully developed by a **solo creator** — from concept, programming, and pixel art to implementation.  

There's no team, no studio, and no publisher — just one person building a game out of pure passion for interactive worlds.
